A rare and unique Inclusive Community Project is launched for Parents along with special need adults with the answer for the concern “WHAT AFTER US?”.
This project is budget friendly and designed with Group Home as the solution. The Group Homes will be managed by professionals and Association of parents with special need adults with 100% involvement. The uniqueness of this inclusive project comes with pool of knowledge and experts in their respective fields.
PASAND (Parents Association for Specially Abled Needs), LANCOR (reputed Builder) and AMAR SEVA SANGAM (premier Organisation in the field of disability management) has bonded together to create a life long, secured and an Inclusive Gated Community at Lancor Lumina, Chennai.

To address the above “PASAND” Parents Association for Specially Abled Needs & Desires was formed by a Group of like minded Parents of Special Need Adults with assured lifestyle even after the life time of the parents.
The true love and anxiety of the parents with special need daughters grouped together with more members and emerged as PASAND (Parents Association for Specially Abled Needs & Desires)
PASAND team is a group of like-minded parents of Special Need Adults (SNA) with ultimate focus, working tirelessly for over three years to find solution to the thoughts, anxieties and to address the question of every parent with Special Need Adults – “What After Us”.
During these long years of journey, PASAND has worked with many special need families, schools, organisations and like-minded individuals. One of its founding objectives is to create a lifelong , secured and Inclusive Gated Community with assured lifestyle for the special need adults along with their parents and even after the lifetime of the parents . In July 2024, PASAND, in collaboration with Lancor and Amar Seva Sangam has emerged with a unique Inclusive Gated Community – Lancor Lumina in Guduvanchery, Chennai.

AMAR SEVA SANGAM located in Ayikudi village in Thirunelveli District in South Tamil Nadu was established in 1981, by PADMA SHREE AWARDEE Shri Ramakrishnan, President for the Disabled and named it after his Doctor and mentor Air Marshal Dr. Amarjit Singh Chahal of Defence hospital. The vision and mission of Amar Seva Sangam is to establish a valley for the Disabled, whereby physically / mentally challenged persons live in a pro-active society where equality prevails irrespective of physical, mental or other challenged with the rest of the society. Amar Seva Sangam has established many initiatives over the years to rehabilitate differently abled people in many ways – Institution based Rehabilitation activities, skill development of special needs through vocational training etc.

The brochure for this project is appended as appendix 1. PASAND members will be living as a community of parents with special need adults in Lancor Lumina ABC & H2 Block. This Block will consist of infrastructure and amenities to live a full life along with skill development centre, cafeteria-serving nutritious meals, community hall, primary health centre, gymnasium, swimming pool, parks, etc. This is part of a larger 8-acre inclusive community known as LANCOR LUMINA. The parents will be part of the management of the community and take up specific responsibilities for its smooth functioning. A support group will be created to help parents plan the transition of their children for happy living as Group Home in the same block till their life time.
